Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Thingies and Tortilla Rolls

Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Thingies

Fresh Jalapenos 2-3 inches in size
Softened Cream Cheese
Thin Bacon, sliced into thirds (she did some with turkey bacon...less fat!)

Cut jalapenos in half, length wise. With a spoon, remove the seeds and white membrane (the source of the heat;leave a little if you like things HOT). Smear cream cheese into each half. Wrap with bacon piece. Secure by sticking toothpick through the middle. )You can freeze these for a later time if you want).
Bake on a pan with a rack at 375 for 20-25 minutes. If the bacon doesn't look brown enough after 20 mins, turn on the broiler for a few minutes. Serve immediately if you want them hot, or they are good at room temperature.

Tasty Tortilla Rolls

12 oz cream cheese, softened
2 TBS chopped green chilies (canned, drained)
3 TBS chopped ripe olives
5 TBS minced green onions
1 clove garlic, minced
3 TBS finely chopped pecans (optional)
Flour tortillas

Mix all ingredients together. Cut tortillas into rectangle shapes. Spread mixture on tortilla, completely covering tortilla. Ross up and wrap in plastic wrap. Let chill for 3 hours. Slice before serving. Dip in salsa.
